Alaska Mountaineering Guides
Take You to Greater Heights!

Alaska mountaineering guides can lead you on tours of some of the highest mountains in North America. Not only is it an exciting adventure, but it is also highly dangerous! So you want to make sure you are with the best guides.

These Alaska guides have been either approved or allowed to lead mountain climbing parties in the following parks. The good part is, these parks have some of the tallest mountains in the world to climb! You definitely will not run short on challenges.

So if you are one of those "extreme adventurers", try some mountain climbing with one of these guides. I guess I should also tell you, many of them do have mild versions of mountain-climbing. You do have to be in good physical condition, but you do not have to be able to climb Mt. Everest in order to go on some of their tours!

Alaska Mountaineering Guides Operating in Kenai Fjords National Park: - St. Elias Alpine Guides (above) lead tours on the Harding Icefield and surrounding mountain peaks, involving special glacier and rock climbing skills. Also check with any of the Hiking or Backpacking Guides in this area. Many of them offer hikes in and around these mountains and may be proficient in moutaineering skills.

Alaska Mountaineering Guides Operating in Denali National Park: - The following six mountaineering guide companies are the ONLY guides allowed to lead parties on Mt. McKinley and Mt. Foraker. Since Mt. McKinley and Mt. Foraker provide the two most demanding mountain climbing feats, you'll be safe with these mountaineering guides.

AND there are stiff penalties for any other company or group that offers commercial guiding services on these peaks. Since a lot of people can die or be badly injured without the proper skills and knowledge, the National Park system is doing everthing it can to ensure your safety!
