Alaska tide tables cover a lot of territory. So I am providing the ones that are most used for Cook Inlet, the Kenai Peninsula and many of the islands and bays in Prince William Sound. Tidal predictions are useful when you use Alaska cabin rentals on a coastline, for camping in marine parks, going clam digging and other ocean shoreline vacation activities. You'll want to have a good idea of when the tide is in and when it goes out, so you can time your activities with them. Just remember, these Alaska tide tables are tidal predictions for high and low tides - not statements of fact. People have been trying to predict sea tides for centuries, but they are never 100 percent accurate because there are too many factors that can influence them. Unusual weather can cause tidal currents to change, causing "weather tides". With those things noted, these tidal charts are prepared by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), so they are about as accurate as you are going to get with tidal information. Each down-loadable Alaska tide table file consists of twelve pages of predictions, one for each month of the current year. It will open in a new window so you won't have to leave this page. And if you magnify it to about 150 percent, it will be easy to read.
