A Map of Alaska
Gives a Good Overview

The first map of Alaska gives you an overview of most of the routes that will be covered in this website. The main highways are pointed out with key points and cities along those routes.

For all online maps: Zoom in on the map to see the locations more clearly. Left click on each bubble marker to read the notes that will identify the marked point and give some additional information about it. Besides familiarization with names and places, it will be easier to understand directions given on the various pages of this website.

For high quality, printed Alaska maps in paper, laminate or Wallzilla Adhesive Maps only available at Maps.com!

  • Large Map of Alaska - A choice of five different wall hanging maps.
  • Alaska State Map - A choice of ten different historical maps from National Geographic originals.
  • All INTERNATIONAL ORDERS are welcome - See Current Specials on above pages.

0 - An Overview of Alaska

If you're looking for a printed map, you can also purchase the following Alaska maps from the US Geological Survey at $9.00 each. They can be previewed here and you can even print a small version of them:

1 - Using the Alaska Ferry to arrive here.

The next map of Alaska is specifically for coordination with the Alaska Ferry page if you are thinking about using the ferry as part of all of your journey here. It gives you the points of departure and several possibilities for ways to arrive here.

2 - Using the Alaska Ferry for a complete vacation plan. Take a vacation along the southern coast of Alaska.

The next map shows EVERY stop made by the Alaska Ferry. This maps the route known as the Alaska Marine Highway System.

3 - Using the Alaska train for basic transportation.

Next is an Alaska railroad map showing the depot locations or main stops along the Alaska railroad routes.

This is just the first set. You'll be able to find a map of Alaska for almost any purpose, starting with an Alaska highway map...
